Here’s a baby shower invitation I have been working on – the baby girl’s room is going to be done in turquoise and brown so I used those colors for the invitation as well.  The picture is blurry, but it’s somewhat on purpose to protect the address.  But since it is blurry I have also added a picture that is closer so as to see the patterned paper and detail on the ribbon.  When I first was seeking out paper and ribbon for this project I was told the colors were pink, orange, turquoise and brown which overwhelmed me – FOUR colors!  I thought that was a lot, but then I felt so successful in my shopping spree that I had found a paper and ribbon that could really incorporate the use of each of the colors.  It was after that I learned that brown and turquoise were the only colors, so soon I’ll have another example of a baby shower invite using that paper and ribbon.  I also have another baby shower I am making invitations for so stay tuned for that.  It sure is baby season for me right now!

This weekend I was able to proudly wear my “go green” shirt along with two other pretty ladies to Dallas’ annual St. Patty’s Day Parade on Greenville Avenue as you can see in the picture below:

And Sunday night I created this simple customized sympathy card:

I am SO excited!  My March Project is complete!  Instant Imprint in Addison is amazing and got my shirts completed for me within 24 hours.  Now I will have a shirt to run the St. Patty’s 5k on Greenville Avenue tomorrow morning.  Three shirts were made besides mine so I’m hoping I can get a picture tomorrow with the other shirt owners and post it on here for you to see.  For now here is a picture of yours truly modeling the shirt…

Until next time….beth

Today I was able to finally get my March Handwriting project finished and sent off to be produced. :)   Two of my good girlfriends were the ones who helped inspire this new project…I don’t want to give away what it is just yet so you’ll find out more when it is ready.  It should be ready sometime tomorrow – I am SO excited!!  In the meantime, just know that it is a St. Patty’s Day inspired project!

Until next time….beth
